Behavior-health services funded through our Multi-Specialty Group (MSG) include Passport & Aetna “Better Health Kentucky” (MCOs); as well as three Medicaid Waiver Programs (MP, SCL & ABI), In-Network Commercial Insurance & Private Client Services (PCS). Each funded program-type includes individual assessment results and intervention services provided are based on those outcomes.
Our approach to effective behavior change consists of providing a combination of Direct Instruction (DI), Precision Teaching (PT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Behavioral Activation & Counseling. Each methodology utilized is formed under the scientific basis provided by Behavior Analysis (i.e., experimental, applied & philosophical).
Therefore, (1) Very Intensive, (2) Intensive & (3) Consultative Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for qualified students, clients, and participants, of all ages are based on (a) available funding & (b) assessment recommendations for treatment, intervention or environmental arrangement. Ultimately, high-quality CBA services are provided to individuals and their families based on the most appropriate approach (see links listed above).
Other factors like individual assessment results, testing outcomes & treatment recommendations as well as approved, pre-authorized or verified payment plan arrangement for access to the selected program. All of these factors together help determine the full design of an individualized, effective and do-able treatment plan. All of these factors are assessed with you (1:1) by a professional, during the complimentary screening to determine feasibility, integrity, and overall prognosis. This is done free of charge. After the complimentary screening session, we will ensure as well, that you and your family will cooperate, comply and participate in the prescribed intervention program and reserve the right to discontinue, delay or pause any component of any of our services, including free pre-service complimentary screenings.
Complimentary screening sessions provided to you, give you a chance to review our program options, types of accepted funding and will help you determine if this is the right program for you and your family (i.e., what are your primary goals and how do you want to get there?). Typically, scheduled complimentary screenings occur before any other services are considered, free of charge.
Additionally, submitting, scheduling and/or completing a complimentary screening does not guarantee services will be provided in any way whatsoever yet, we will provide alternative options based on the complimentary preliminary assessment which is completed before, during or after the initial complimentary screening session; if services cannot be offered at that time or placement on call-back list is recommended.
Finally, community-based services are offered at CBA through a separate program, see the “services” tab on the home page to explore various options and submit a complimentary screening if interested in learning more about Community-Based Behavior Support Services (BSS), Direct Support (DSP) & Counseling Services.
