Functional Assessment

An indirect functional assessment provides information necessary to develop a comprehensive behavior intervention plan for each learner, identifying behaviors of concern, settings, and skill deficits. This component of service requires participation from caretakers through interviews, observations, and baseline data collection. Completion of the functional assessment guides the entire treatment process and is frequently updated through the process. Additional assessments may also be provided during this component, such as ABLLS, VB-MAPP, QABF,  and PDDBI.
